In the Graduate Education and Training Regulation published in the Official Gazette, the provision added to Article 35 “In cases of disasters and epidemics, higher education institutions may grant an additional period of up to two semesters, one semester at a time, to graduate students in the thesis stage upon their request, depending on the stage of the disaster or epidemic, and these additional periods are not counted towards the maximum period” due to the Covid 19 epidemic, to request an additional semester, please fill out the attached petition, get it approved and signed by your advisor, scan it, and send it as an email attachment to fbe@mehmetakif.edu.tr  by 05.03.2021, and your request will be processed.
