In our institute's Civil Engineering Department Earthquake and Structural Engineering Program, within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2221 "Guest or Sabbatical Scientist Support Program" conducted by Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Gülhan İNCE, seminars and workshops were organized by guest speaker Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ali Ghamari from Iran Islamic Azad University and our faculty members within the project titled "Introduction of a New Cost-Effective and Easy-to-Produce Damper and Discussion of Its Suitability for Existing Structures in Our Country and Region".

Held at the Avşarhan cinema hall workshop, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ali Ghamari gave a presentation on "Recent Earthquakes, Their Effects, and Strengthening Techniques", while our Civil Engineering Department faculty members gave presentations on "Damage Conditions in Structures During the February 6, 2023 Earthquake" and "Seismicity of Burdur City Center and Existing Building Stock".
