The Institute of Science was established within Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, which was established by law number 5467 dated 17.03.2006, and started its activities on 28.12.2006.
Mission
The mission of the Institute of Science; to lead the training of qualified researchers and individuals with knowledge and skills in the fields of science, to ensure the continuous development, evaluation and effective implementation of education programs for this purpose, to contribute to the improvement of education quality in all programs, to support national and international joint research activities and project studies, to open new programs for this purpose, to encourage contributions to world science by prioritizing the needs of our country and our people in thesis studies to be carried out.
Vision
The vision of the Institute of Science; to be a respected institution that is preferred by students who believe that they will improve their quality of life with the profession they received education, whose graduates have a distinguished place in their fields with the education they received, who train qualified scientists to universities with the education programs they carry out, supporting scientific and technological research, increasing it at national and international level. It is to continue its postgraduate education programs in line with today's requirements and accurate predictions for the future and to constantly update them, to implement education methods that prioritize learning based on research. It is to prepare an environment for the development and dissemination of national and international innovations by attaching importance to university-industry-institution-organization cooperation in scientific research activities.
